Basketballs and badminton sets were provided to the students of Green Acres Middle School in Birmingham, Alabama to encourage active lifestyles and replace worn out gym equipment.
As a sponsor of the Weekenders Program at the Food Bank of Central Alabama, the firm was able to provide monetary support to give a class of 25 low-income students an entire semester of weekend meals.
While at the Food Bank of Central Alabama, Alexander Shunnarah and members of the firm spent an afternoon packing bags of food to be handed out directly to the classroom they sponsored through the Weekenders Program.
The firm visited the Woodlawn High School band of Birmingham, Alabama and provided a brand new metronome and nine brand new tuners to help keep them on beat and ready to expand their horizons through music education.
Firm attorneys and staff teamed together for the annual Girls Inc. Cajun Cook-off, which is focused on encouraging and empowering young girls to succeed. The firm placed first for Judge’s Choice and were the runners-up for People’s Choice.
The firm was fortunate enough to tour the Children’s Hospital of Alabama and provide teddy bears for the Teddy Bear Clinic. The clinic helps child patients understand the medical procedures they undergo and provides comfort.
